ISO: wooden ovals

hey internet savvey monkeys! help me find a source for wooden ovals kind of like these http://www.craftparts.com/438-ovals-signs-thick-p-2804.html?cat_id=280

these are too thin. I need them to be at least 1/2" thick. most craft stores are coming up with the thin ones.

These are 3/8" thick - not quite as thick as you wanted, but might work.

ooh! the hobbylobby one is good, but the bevel edge wouldn't work.
these are going to be the base for the circus punks. I need to tack the doll to them. :-)
