Drupal Poople

Hey folks!

I need help. :-) I'm overhauling my website and I want to use drupal ( http://drupal.org/ ). I've got it loaded on my server, and running the basics, but I need help making it my own. I have the functions basically sketched out, but I do not know how to make them happen. I've gone through the tutorials, but for some reason, comprehension is not sinking in. :(

I know that some of you use Joomla, which I also looked into, but I ended up going with Drupal and I am reluctant to undo the work I have already done.

is there anyone out there with drupal knowledge willing to trade a few hours of help (preferably on a sunday afternoon) in return for coffee and other rewards to be negotiated?

I don't know anything about Drupal (other than what their website offers), but I'm thinking about doing the same thing with MY website. I'd love to hear how it goes!

drupal is awesome, and apparently, the most difficult to master.

other options include - Joomla, wordpress and much much more. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_content_management_systems)

depending on what you want to do, some are better than other.

and I'm getting a little frustrated. :( If I only had the money, I would hand someone the breakdown of the content, and the artwork and have them set up the function.
