mabjustmabas per the recommendations of several friends, I purchased the Golden Compass books. they arrived in a less than timely manner (screw amazon...they can bite my tuckus).
I have held off reading them now, because I hear there is a movie coming out. I am one of those rare people that like to watch the movie before reading a book. because the book is almost always better and I hate to dislike a perfectly good movie because it's "not like the book".
that movie better come out soon, damn it. I want to read these books!
