corset choice help needed

factors:
I haven't tried either on. if they don't fit, they do accept returns but there is a 10% restocking fee.
the cheaper one is cheaper.
but I ~really~ want the more expensive one.

and I should have mentioned, it's not so much an "either or" issue. I definitely want the "steampunky" one, but the cheaper one would be the tie over till I can more easily afford the more expensive one...unless I find another fancy one that I like better...etc.

I am going to get one of these monday, as the sale is very helpful. so getting them now is going to happen.

I think the cheaper one is more versatile, the second being extremely steampunk specific.

I'm a big fan of versatility, so I would go with the cheaper one myself.

I agree with you on the versatility factor. but I believe the straps come off (unbutton) and that little pocket is the perfect place for props.

you can add buttons and leather garter straps to the cheep one. Also, you could add a contrasting pocket by sewing it onto the cheaper one by hand.

The question is - Do you want to have someone else do it for you for $64, or can you do it as nicely for less?
