uke status. day 11

I can play "old lang syne", "happy birthday" and "blister in the sun" reasonably well. "blister in the sun" needs just a little more work before I would perform it, but the other two I could do on stage if I had to.

I can play the following chords without having to look them up: c, f, g, g7, em, d
that is certainly enough to be a rock star :-)

my strumming technique needs more work and is my primary focus at the moment. specifically strumming and changing chords at the same time.

still don't have a uke icon.

I do not yet know how to read these different uke tabs.

if I could only bring my uke to work to practice, that would help out a lot.

I has it.

and I'm thinking about putting glitter on my uke. but I can't. 1. I don't know how it would affect the sound. 2. it would get glitter ~everywhere~ (and we're treading on thin glitter w/ the boys of the CMSS as it is) 3. it would get glitter all over me, which would be kind of annoying if I don't want glitter all over me.

I found a uke that has flames painted on it. I don't know how it sounds. but it looks cool. I could paint flames on my uke. but would that mess it up? I don't know.

I want to stick stickers on it. it's not a very expensive instrument. I guess I could afford to go crazy. right? right?

also, I finally made a uke icon. it's not perfect, but it will do for now.
