inspired by helping oletheros set up his etsy shop for his sequential art books, I set up an etsy shop. mostly to see what it was like.

I don't have anything listed yet, but I would love to hear other folks thoughts, feedback, suggestions, etc.

what is the word?

it's kind of like street seller, hawker, peddler, vendor, merchant

not quite huckster, pitchperson,

maybe trader?  no. 

the imagery I want to convey is the person selling various and sundry items on a blanket.  not a regular shop.  kind of like a yard sale, only less suburban. 

Thesaurus.com has been marginally helpful.  but I'm not quite finding the right word.  what do you say, LJ braintrust?
