I just heard about this place, and I'm extremely interested. it doesn't hurt that they are close to my home.
I'm toying with the idea of taking the crochet class on Thursday, but it costs money.

JOIN US FOR OUR NEW GROUP ART JAMS! THERE IS SOMETHING "SKETCHY" GOING ON AT THE SOUNDRY... Join us for a group sketch Tuesday December 17th. Drop in anytime between 5pm-11pm and have the company and inspiration of others. We will provide something for inspiration but feel free to follow your own muse. The Soundry is a relaxed, supportive environment. Just bring your supplies and have some fun. Soundry Members: FREE NON-Members: $5.00 WE DO NOT CRY OVER SPILT PAINT AT THE SOUNDRY! Join us for a group painting session for water colors and acrylics (don't sorry oil painters, we have a night carved out for you too!). Bring your supplies and work with others in your medium for inspiration. Some easels on site--if you have a travel easel bring it along! Plenty of work table space is available as well. This group session is very relaxed and you can drop in anytime between 5pm-10pm. Soundry Members: FREE Non-Members: $5 and we give you a FREE cup of coffee Lets Get Graphic.... With graphic arts that is! Graphic artists and printers are invited to congregate at The Soundry on Friday December 19th to network, be inspired and work on current projects. Come learn the basic of crochet and you just may have enough time to crank out a hat, scarf, or unique head band in time for the holidays.
