a very strange thing happened this morning. for no reason that I can figure out, I woke up at 8:30. folks who know me know that I don't believe in 8:30. never have. still, figuring it was a hint, I got up and started to get some work done.

my phone rings. it's the fellow I've been playing phone tag with calling me for an interview. scheduled it for today at 11:00 am (note, I usually sleep till noon, and stay up till 4 am...so, all this before I usually wake up is amazing)

the interview went well. they always do. I'm trying not to get my hopes up. still, talking on the phone this evening I noticed little things kept slipping out of my mouth, like "if I get this job, then I will be able to do more at the Sideshow Gathering".

there's that hope thing again.

Today was spent being unusually productive. I finished up the pages I was working on in Asheville. uploaded some pics from our hike in the mountains (just seeing them again made me feel wonderful. now I know why I took so many dang pics!), I worked in the shrunken head pasties (they are going to be awesome!). I took care of a f-ton (metric) of DCT biz, and I got some planning done on my super seekrit sideshow project (hopeful, positive work)

all in all, a good day. but I have to watch that hope thing. don't want it getting too out of hand. (however, any hope you folks might be harboring is acceptable ;-)
