The MVCAU announces March 1, 2008 is the start of the Internet-based, community oriented “Umbrella Radio”: www.umbrellaradio.org



Background: Since 2006, the MVCAU has supported, encouraged, and promoted arts and culture within the Mill Valley communities.

MVCAU is our newest media outlet, providing a 24-hour continuous internet-based radio stream focusing on local arts, music, entertainment, news and community information.

The purpose of the station is two-fold: 1) provide community-based information, arts and entertainment; and 2) provide a training opportunity to youth and adults to learn aspects of Internet radio broadcasting.

UMBRELLA RADIO operates 24 hours a day, every day.

How can you listen to Umbrella Radio? Open your web browser and go to http://www.umbrellaradio.org and select the Umbrella Radio button. You can now hear local news, music, sports, commentary and more. You need to have the latest version of Quick Time Player installed on your computer. (Installation instructions are included on the page).
